If you answered Yes to these questions you might be just who we are looking for.
We have a temporary Maternity Leave position available.
You will provide support for our operations team and be the first point of contact for people contacting the food bank in person at our Moortown base, and by phone or email.
You will be undertaking daily administration tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, speaking with clients on the phone regarding their food parcel requirements and offering signposting support, liaising with our referral agencies, managing fuel bank referrals, updating voucher data online, creating delivery driver schedules, and monitoring and updating databases.
You will also undertake logistical tasks, such as completing food orders and unpacking weekly deliveries at our Moortown Centre.
Who are we looking for
You have experience of working or volunteering in a voluntary organisation.
You are efficient at planning and organising your daily and weekly tasks and can prioritise and work to a deadline.
You have a flexible attitude, and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team but are also happy to work unsupervised
