Network Rail Foodbank Friday

6th December 2016

On Friday 25th November, Leeds North and West foodbank joined forces with Network Rail and BT to collect donations at Leeds train station. Despite the chilly November weather everyone was in high spirits and ready for a day of collecting ahead of them!

So, how did it all go? Well, we’re so pleased to say the day was an enormous success, with a grand total of £1,609.49 being donated by the generous people passing through Leeds train station. That’s the most we’ve ever collected, well done everyone!

That’s not all either. We also had another team of volunteers from BT helping out behind the scenes in our warehouse. It was really great to see everyone pitching in and the extra support was much appreciated, as always!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Network Rail, BT and any passengers that donated to the foodbank that day. With your support and generosity, we’re able to continue helping the people that need us the most.

If you’re interested in making a donation to the North and West Leeds foodbank, or have some time spare to volunteer then please visit our Give help page to find out how to get involved.
