Estate agents support foodbank

22nd November 2017

A Leeds estate agency is working with our local foodbank to offer support to people and families in the run-up to Christmas.

Linley & Simpson, in Swinegate, has become a collection point for Leeds North and West Foodbank which gives food to people who find themselves in tough financial situations.

Lauren Sayles, branch manager at Linley and Simpson, who have been in business for 20 years and open in Leeds City Centre since 2005, said: “Here in Leeds, we know of the rising numbers of people needing support from foodbanks to simply get by.

“We were made aware of the fantastic work the volunteers at Leeds North and West Foodbank do, and we were very keen to offer our support.

“We will be accepting donations at our office throughout the rest of November and December and publicising the work Leeds North and West Foodbank does as much as we can.”

Leeds North and West Foodbank are very grateful to Linley & Simpson, and would welcome other creative collaborations with organisations wanting to combat poverty and hunger across the UK – please email us if you’d like to get involved.
