Our Centres are closed but the Foodbank is OPEN doing deliveries for all our clients

2nd May 2020

Following guidance from Trussell Trust we have made the decision to protect our volunteers , staff and people who need our food support by moving to a delivery only service.

From Monday 4th May if you need a food parcel we will be arranging delivery to your door.

To arrange a delivery you will require a referral , if you have a support worker or agency please talk to them about getting a referral alternatively call or email our foodbank and we can talk through your situation and put you in touch with a relevant local agency.

Other people who can help:

If you can’t afford food, you can call 0808 2082138 (freephone) for free to speak to a trained and independent Citizens Advice agent.

The freephone helpline is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. You’ll be able to talk to an agent confidentially about your circumstances and if needed they’ll issue you with a food bank voucher.

Emergency food provision through the Local Welfare Support Scheme

There is now additional food support available for families and individuals who are experiencing difficulties in accessing food due to financial difficulties or self-isolation. Personal circumstances will determine the type of help that can be received.

Referrals can be made through local key workers, council services or by calling 0113 376 0330.
