We are proud to be part of the Trussell Trust Network of food banks and as such our long term vision is for an end to the need for our foodbank services.
We agree with Trussell Trust that it would be wrong for us just to focus on providing the best possible emergency food to people in crisis today. Everyone should be able to afford the essentials in life, including food, and we want to see a future where no one needs to use a food bank.

Foodbank Logistics Manager

We are now looking to appoint a part time Logistics Manager on a job share basis to join our team and become a key part of the Operational Management Team.  Reporting to the Project Director, you will co-ordinate the day-to-day management of the warehouse, liaise with our donor team to manage a regular supply of donations coming to the warehouse and out to our Distribution Centres and regularly update the team on items most needed to balance supplies.  You will have the ability to plan, manage and monitor a project, have experience of managing people but also as working as part of a busy team delivering high quality customer service.  Possessing excellent inter-personal skills, you will be able to establish and maintain relationships as well as valuing others particularly when dealing with people from disadvantaged, marginalised and socially excluded backgrounds.
